About Vizroots

Built for practice groups whose locations don't run the same way.

Vizroots was started in Calgary to fix a specific problem: multi-location practice groups were stuck choosing between enterprise healthcare IT (too slow, too expensive) or generic BI freelancers who don't know a denial rate from a deductible.

Why I Started This

Your data is trying to tell you something.

I spent over a decade inside data teams — including at Amazon — and kept running into the same problem. The people closest to the data are often the furthest from the business. Data teams talk in pipelines, tables, and code. Business owners talk in revenue, patients, and locations. Somewhere between those two languages, the actual meaning gets lost.

Your data wants to talk. It knows which location is struggling, which provider needs support, where revenue is quietly leaking out. But if nobody on the team can translate that into plain business language, it just stays noise — technically correct, practically useless.

I think most businesses are really facing one underlying problem: data silos. Ops has its own numbers, finance has its own, HR has another set entirely — and the people who actually need the full picture, the owners, the COOs, the CFOs, are left piecing it together by hand. I started Vizroots to close that gap, beginning where I know the problem best: multi-location medical and dental practice groups.

The Clinical Side

I've actually sat on the other side of the chart.

I practiced dentistry for six years in India before relocating to Canada. At Vizroots, I'm not the one building pipelines or custom solutions — I make sure everything we build actually holds up clinically. I review our client-facing materials for accuracy, sit in on conversations with clinical stakeholders during projects, and check that the compliance and regulatory language we use is right, not just technically correct.

That grounding goes deeper than the dental degree. Since moving to Canada, I've spent nearly a decade in pharmacovigilance and drug safety — currently at Cencora, and previously at Parexel — writing safety reports, tracking regulatory submissions, and working directly with international health authorities. Between the clinical side and the regulatory side, very little about how a practice group actually operates is unfamiliar to me.

Tajinder can build you a technically perfect solution. My job is making sure it also makes sense to the people actually running the practice — because a number that's accurate but clinically meaningless doesn't help anyone.

Why Vizroots Exists

Revenue cycle fluency, without the agency overhead.

Most BI consultancies don't understand healthcare's specific vocabulary — claims, denials, RCM, financial reporting, HIPAA — and most healthcare IT firms are built for hospital systems, not a 4-location practice group.

Vizroots works in the gap between those two. You talk directly to the people building your custom solution. Projects move in weeks, not quarters. And every location gets measured the same way, no matter what system it runs.

What working with us looks like

  • → One point of contact from first call to final handover
  • → Clear, upfront pricing — no surprise scope creep
  • → Fluent in RCM, claims, financial reporting, and HIPAA — not learning on your dime
  • → Built around your actual locations and systems, not a generic template
Background

Team experience

Vizroots is a new company — but the people behind it aren't new to data or to healthcare. Tajinder's background includes analytics and engineering roles at organizations including Amazon and TCS, plus hands-on work managing financial reporting directly with CFOs and boards of directors. Navpreet brings six years of clinical dental practice and nearly a decade in pharmacovigilance and drug safety. Together, that includes experience working with an RCM clearinghouse and an orthodontic practice partner.

These are companies we worked at as employees, not Vizroots clients — we're upfront about that because we think it matters. What we bring to Vizroots is that experience, applied to practice groups that don't have an enterprise BI or RCM analytics team of their own.

Where We're At

Early, and honest about it.

Vizroots is a new business, currently working with a small number of multi-location practice groups taken on through direct referrals and networking — which means every engagement gets real attention, not a fraction of an account manager's time.
